Intro
My name is Phuoc. I came from Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
I am working as a Junior Electrical Engineer specializing in Embedded Software/Hardware Design.
During my study, I've found out that I quite like sharing the technical stuff that I had learned to
everybody and especially people with non-technical background.
The reason simply is that with new people that I met, it's quite interesting to know more about
their
perspective to a specific technical concept, even if it's not their specializing field.
This is my personal site where I include all the personal projects I have made during my engineering
path. There are also a few interesting projects that I had done back in my student time.
Besides that, I also have a personal blog you can find here which contains my little story as an engineer
and also some interesting topics that I want to share.
I hope you would find something interesting here and enjoy reading about my work!
By the way, here is the link to my awesome work !

Work
One of the interesting facts I have realized through time is that most of my friends of family
members don't exactly know about my job, or at least the job title.
It's quite difficult most of the time to tell other people exactly what I do as an Embedded Design
Engineer (to be more specific besides electrical engineer) or what is the job about.
Sometimes I tell them I work as an Electrical Engineer because it might sound easier to
be visualized. Around 80% of the times when I say that, my friends or family think that I work as an
electrician, the other 20% will think of an IT job if I mention that I could also program some thing
with the computer.
I will give out a funny brief description of my job below for those who is not in the field.
WHAT IS MY JOB ABOUT? :D
An Embedded Design Engineer is like a superhero who makes electronic devices do amazing things!
They design circuit boards, or "superhero hideouts," called PCBs, where all the electronic parts
live.
Then, they use their special powers to analyze these electronic devices and make sure they are
working properly.
Finally, they use their super computer skills to program the devices, or give them "superpowers"
using embedded software.
It's like giving a robot the ability to fly or a phone the power to talk to you!
All in all, being an Embedded Design Engineer is a lot of fun and a great way to make a real impact
on the world around you.
A circuit board, or PCB, is like the brain of an electronic device.
It's a thin piece of material, usually made of fiberglass or plastic, that has lots of tiny
pathways, or circuits, etched onto it.
Think of it like a city map where each pathway is a street and each electronic component is a
building.
The Embedded Design Engineer's job is to design and lay out this city, making sure that all the
buildings are in the right place, and that the streets connect them all together.
It's like playing with a really cool and advanced version of legos, but instead of building houses,
you're building electronic devices!
As related to hardware tasks. Imagine I use special computer programs to make a blueprint for the
device, just like how an architect makes a blueprint for a building.
Then I use this blueprint to create the circuit board or called as PCB.
Once the PCB is ready, I will assemble the electronic components on it, similar to how you would
assemble a puzzle.
I will test the circuit board to ensure it functions properly.
Think of the previous part as I was creating an electronic toy. After assembling it, I give it
special powers using magic spells, called embedded software.
I write these spells using a special language, like how wizards use Latin to cast spells.
Once the spells are written, I use a magic wand, called a programmer, to put the spells into the
toy's memory, like how Hermione puts books into her beaded bag.
Then, I test the spells to make sure they work correctly and don't have any bugs, just like how
Harry Potter tests the spells he learned in class.
If everything works well, the toy is ready to be played with, just like how a toy comes out of a
box.
The toy can now do all kinds of cool tricks, like talk to you, take pictures, or drive around! All
of this is possible because of the embedded software, the magic spells that the Embedded Design
Engineer has cast into it.
